What to Expect During Microsuction
Microsuction works by using a small suction device to carefully remove ear wax from the ear canal. The procedure may produce a noticeable suction sound as the wax is removed.
In some situations, ear wax may be very hard or impacted, or the ear canal may be inflamed or swollen. In these cases, the procedure may feel slightly uncomfortable. If this occurs, we may recommend softening the wax with olive oil drops for 3–7 days before returning for a follow-up appointment. This helps make the removal process easier and more comfortable.

What if I do not have any wax?
Consultation Policy
If you attend an appointment and no ear wax is present that requires removal, a $30 consultation fee will apply. This fee covers the ear examination and professional assessment carried out during your visit.
